This listing is for 3 candle holders cut from reclaimed Philadelphia olde growth pine. The wood was once a floor joist from a 19th century Philadelphia house. The wood was cut down to size, removing hand cut nails which resulted in the charcoal gray splattering on some of the sides. The pieces were then sanded and oiled and decoupaged with handpicked images from antique animal book from 1885. These images have been glued onto the wood with PH neutral adhesive and sealed with an acrylic sealer. Peg and Awl has been stamped into the bottom of each candle holder.
