Pencil and gouache on 300gsm hot-pressed Arches paper (acid free, archival etc). The size of the paper I use for the commission is approximately 210mm x 297mm (about A4), signed and dated.
You will need to send me photos of your pet, along with information about their personality, and anything else which you think might be important for me to know. I can include a little something extra if you would like as well, such as a flower, a bright colour (as in my "In the Winter it is Impossible to Survive Without a Fire" illustration), the pets nametag, pink cheeks or similar.
Generally it takes me about two to two and a half weeks to complete a portrait, once I have finished the piece I will let you know and then send it off to you. If you need it sooner than two weeks then I can do rush orders.
The price for the shipping is for airmail, which takes about 2 days for NZ, 5-10 for Australia, and 8-15 for most other places. If you would like me to post you portrait to you via courier post (which is tracked and insured, and takes 1 day in NZ, 1-3 days to Australia, and 2-5 days to most other places. Cost for that is $10 for NZ, $24 for Australia and $28 for the rest of the world) then let me know and I can set up a special listing for you.
