My three young daughters were so excited at the onset of spring and the early unfolding of the flower blossoms everywhere. They ran to the cherry trees the first morning the flowers opened up and danced, sang and played under the mini-orchard. My oldest daughter, after holding a specific tree and examining it's branches, asked me who the Cherry Blossom Goddess was. We went home and looked her up. We found out her name is Konohana and she guards over Japan and Mt. Fuji. Then my daughter came up with a brilliant idea. She wanted to make an essence from the first flowers, sell it and send the money to Japan to "help build their houses again". Her idea became a reality with the help of designer Erin Darcy http://www.etsy.com/people/edarcydesign who crafted the original label for Konohana Cherry Blossom Flower Essence.
The cherry blossoms were carefully chosen at dawn under the Full Moon in March and lovingly made into a flower essence using only purified water and a very small amount of organic brandy to preserve (the amount is practically of the essence and this is very safe for children to consume). The essence was charged with Rose Quartz.
In Japen, the Cherry Blossom tree represents the beauty of Life in the Moment, the fragility of being alive and like the Cherry Blossom's life on Earth---a mere 2 weeks--- we should be reminded of how precious each moment is and give thanks for our beautiful walk on Earth no matter how long or short.
Use Konohana Cherry Blossom Essence when you want to enhance your ability to feel gratitude in the moment, when you need inspiration to embrace your life and to connect an open heart to the abundance of blessings we have Here and Now.
100% of the profits will be donated to Japan relief through Americares http://www.americares.org/
