I've used an antique printing block, a Persian one this time, to create the central piece out of recycled paper pulp.
I've painted it with acrylic colors, decorated with gold leaf and then sealed it with matte varnish for protection. It is durable and would last for many years. (I wear my jewelry for many years and on a daily basis :-) you might clean them very gently with a damp cloth.)
The central piece hangs from a multi-strand waxed cord necklace.
I create my jewelry, each and every one of them, as one-of-a-kind piece of art, bringing in my love to paper as well as my long and vast experience as a designer.
