Handcrafted large tote bag made from a c.1970 handwoven dark indigo & natural stripe wool mat. Found as part of a group of vintage Mexican weavings collected by a low-tech globe trekker some 40 yrs. ago. Unused, it's in wonderful condition, has stories to tell & many miles to go.
Thick & heavy duty. It has a rugged, nubby wool texture but bag is supple & can be folded to fit in luggage, carry-on bag for traveling. The unbleached, natural hue wool is a muted cream tone, just like the sturdy deadstock vintage cotton webbing. Not bright white as pics show.
Lined with navy & ivory stripe ticking cotton twill.
Espresso brown leather recycled from an aged motorcycle jacket. Vintage twill tape finished seams.

Conscientious craftsmanship with secure, double/triple stitched seams & stress points. No exposed seams to abrade & weaken.
CARE: Spot clean or dry clean. Do not machine wash. No bleaching agents. Line dry.
