Gooseberry fool is a unique sofa throw sewn in high end luxury duchess satins & stunning shot taffetas that have been arranged in hues of olive greens & purples surrounded with rich black sashing. The semi matt black sequins in the centre square along with a stunning purple & olive gooseberry print complement this beautiful throw.
The back is in a deep black soft poly/cotton mix which has been hand tied using natural mother of pearl buttons, the batting (wadding) is in a super soft polyester mix.
As with all of my throws the edge binding has fully mitred corners before it’s machine sewn on the front and hand sewn to the back encapsulating the batting to give it a plump but hard wearing finish, the back ‘Chic Throws’ label is surrounded with heat sealed diamantes’ in 3 sizes giving it a wonderful sparkle.
Gooseberry fool would be perfect in any setting from draped over your favourite couch to folded lengthways at the end of a double bed!
Gooseberry fool can be washed on a gentle, cool wash of 30 degrees & should then be dried flat.
