Ghosts of Mardi Gras Past Vintage Glass Carnival Beads 4 strands

These vintage Mardi Gras Beads from New Orleans are of Czech glass, the standard material for Mardi Gras beads before the 1960s when plastic was introduced. They have been restrung, and the clasps replaced, as the originals were not meant to last, but to be thrown, but these never were. Perhaps this random riot of colour has waited all these years to adorn you!

Four separate strands, measuring around 18"--
*multi cylinder with big cherry red beads
*red squares and white round beads
*orange cylinders
*clear crystal multi with honey, green and yellow coloured drops
