I painted bigger than life white and pink camelia blooms surrounded by variegated sea foam green and fresh green leaves to create the ultimate feminine silk crepe scarf. Each huge bloom has a bright yellow center full of pollen.This was painted very quickly, as I had one small flower as a model; the effect is that of a fresh watercolor painting, which is just what it is without the paper and paint. I used large brushes and plenty of wet dye.

The size makes it equally stunning as a wrap or shawl, but fluffed up and wrapped around the neck really shows off the detail. 16.5mm stonewashed crepe de Chine feels like sueded butter against the skin, and my dyes are completely permanent. No one can ever have one like it, as no other can ever be made.
