This hard cover blank book makes a great journal or sketchbook. The paper on the front and back covers is a map of Africa from a vintage atlas. The front shows Tanzania and Kenya, including Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Ngorongoro Crater. The back shows more of Tanzania, including Lake Victoria, and also bordering countries of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo. The end pages are red lotka paper. It has been handbound with red linen thread in a coptic binding, which opens flat.
There are 80 pages of 60lb white, unlined paper. This book opens flat to make for easy writing or sketching and at 5" x 7" (12.7cm x 17.78cm) it's an easy size to take anywhere and throw into your travel bag. It would be great on any journey.
