These elusive creatures are yours to keep in the form of a pair of earrings painted with great care to accurately mimic the markings of the Luna Moth (Actias luna).
Carved from 3oz leather, painted with matte and metallic acrylic paints, and sealed with Satin varnish. They are mounted on antique gold brass earring hooks. These earrings can withstand rough use, despite their delicate appearance! It is not recommended to dunk them in water though.
They have a wingspan of 2 inches across and are made to scale of the actual butterfly's proportions. If you'd like a larger or smaller size, please specify this in 'Message to Seller' during checkout.
Each earring is signed and dated by the artist on its underside! Item comes in a jewelry gift box for easy gifting.
