The "Lime Spring" garden necklace was crafted for Etsy Beadweavers Team - April challenge theme: "Spring Around the Corner". It is a very simple yet very elegant and can be worn with a spring skirt and single color blouse or it will also find its way to work and represent your welcoming of the season.
Lime Spring is from our Bellagio Collection and is a handmade bead necklace in an elegant color combination with steel grey background of round hemalike weaving decorated with an embroidery of rich pink and raspberry Swarovski crystals, light green slim oval cat's eye and a cascade of 3 center pendants. It is 19 inches long (it has adjustable chain) and 7/8 inch wide in the middle (2-3/4 inches if including pendant).
The inspiration for this piece is derived from the representation of the steel grey background of round hemalike weaving symbolic of the winter and the outburst of new growth during every spring by the light lime green cat's eyes. New spring buds all over the growing plants produce a contrast in color to the greening activity and the embroidery of rich pink and raspberry Swarovski crystals reflect this vision as you would visualize it naturally.
