Fireweed is a well-known sight in Alaska. The tall purple-pink stalks are a fast-growing species that has many uses. The shoots hold many nutrients and can be added to salads, while the stems contain vitamins C and A and can be used on cuts to help draw harmful compounds out.
My Fireweed soap is a blend of lavender and geranium oils, both are known to be antibacterial, calming to the senses, antimicrobial, and a tonic, among many other helpful and fantastic uses. It is super nourishing and the smell will calm and relax you! I try to use organic ingredients whenever possible for my soap, because I want all of the ingredients to be nourishing for your skin and the earth. The only real chemical in the soap is sodium hydroxide, which is necessary because soap is not soap without it!
The size, shape, and color may vary, due to the handcrafting of the soap. It comes wrapped in fun, colorful paper, sealed with Japanese washi tape. I enjoy fun packaging and I hope you feel the same about your soap!
I am not a doctor and my statements of the uses of essential oils are not meant to treat diseases or cure you of ailments. Use at your own risk. ;o)
NOTE: Cold process handmade soap will last a lot longer if it has a chance to dry between uses. It's best to use a draining soap dish. Enjoy your soap as long as possible!
