Not only are the Booklights a treat for the eye, but they are worry free when it comes to safety. The twisted, sliced paper technique used to form the shade gives each lamp a unique and lively character — perhaps these could even be reminiscent of the paper lamps of master light artist Ingo Maurer — and because the shade encased a cool-to-the-touch LED bulb, there is no fear that it will cause fire hazard." by Inhabitat

This lampshade is ready for you to wrap around any lightbulb in your house!
The shade is made from an recycled novel. Due to the translucency of the material, beautiful shadows become visible once you turn on the light. When turned off, a sculptural element remains.
This specific shade from the photograph is made from "The Birthdays" by Heidi Pitlor. When the book is finished, I will get a similar book (colour, font size, paper type and paper size) to create your shade.

Wrapping instructions are included in the package. Listing is only for the lampshade.
