This is a nice small cardboard nativity scene. The figures all all affixed to the cardboard and appear to be celluloid or a form of early plastic. They are in excellent condition. These small nativity or manger scenes were very popular in the 1940's and 1950's. It is a die cut cardboard with a straw embedded roof. A few little creases but on the whole is very structurally sound. It has a circular opening in the back to put a Christmas bulb to light up and the light shows through the star in front. It still has the original Sears Roebuck price sticker of 98 cents on the bottom! It measures 7" tall and 10" wide.
