A real "full on" seventies dress in a classic romantic boho design.
Worked in a zigzag, or ripple, stitch pattern for a big impact; the colours can be changed more frequently to give the missoni look or kept to more defined bands of stripes, it’s up to you. This will be easy to work once the first row is set and is much more fun to wear than a ripple along blanket !
I send dress pattern WZ 005 free with this pattern to show how it can be worked waist down (like that one), as well as hem up. This is useful for fit adjustments and means you can still have a dress if you get fed up with working the long skirt .
