The body of this bag is upcycled from a magenta/purple dress with gold specks all over it. The sides are upcycled from a black shirt that also has gold specks all over it. The handles are upcycled from a black leather jacket. The edges of the handles were left raw.
The sides and bottom of the bag are stiffly interfaced so the bag will stand unassisted and keep its shape. The bag closes securely with a zipper.
The sides of the bag are pinched and fixed with gold rivets to give the interesting diagonal shape. The handles are also attached with gold rivets.
Bag is approximately 6 inches tall and 15 inches wide. The usuable portion of the bag is approximately 12 inches wide. The zipper is 9 inches long with the black striped fabric around the zipper extending it to 11 inches.
The lining of the bag is upcycled from a black tshirt. There is a nice rakc label on the inside.
