Handmade light box display "Mrs Peggotty and the lost cake".
✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻ MADE TO ORDER ✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻✻
Mrs Peggotty is a Charles Dickens character, who inspired me to create this light box.
I imagined her wearing her binoculars, searching and waiting for Mr. Abbot to treat him a special cake she made. BUT, the squirrel took it and put it somewhere she can't find it. Switch off the lights so you can see!!!
The box is decoupaged with french vintage book pages, a victorian era illustration is attached on the front and beautiful ribbons are used to decorate it along with paper doilies attached all around. 4 wooden beads are used to support it. The cake is laser cut attached at the inside of the illustration and can be seen only if the light is on. The banner is printed on Epson matte paper. The light is attached on the back and works with battery. So you can take it with you everywhere :) Battery is 3V Lithium, you can find them everywhere! In this listing it is included!
Width: 3" (8cm)
Height: 3" (8cm)
Depth: 1 1/2" (4cm)
What a beautiful way to decorate a nursery or kids room, or your own, with this lovely light box that welcomes Spring!
"Ready to ship" items are shipped within the 2 next working days of your purchase. For "made to order" items, please allow 5-6 days for each, unless my shop announcement suggests something different. In case you order more than 1 item, I will try and make them within a week. The more items you order, the more days I need to make them. Please, be patient as I ship from a small greek island. You can even ask for customization! I would be more than happy to create something unique just for you!
Please, keep in mind that every piece re-created is unique. In that case (MADE TO ORDER) the items you will be getting may be slightly different than the photo (the paper used for decoupage each time may vary between greek, english and german book pages), due to their handmade nature, but unique and just as beautiful!
Please read my shop policies!
I accept credit cards and you don’t even need a PayPal account, but choose the PayPal option when you check out, then follow the instructions from there.
Thank you for looking!
