Custom Order How To:
1. Copy and paste inquiry above with your color preferences and any further details or descriptions you'd like for your love birds.
Flowers come in a limited color selection, so please us my chart as a color guideline. I have an ever growing supply of fabrics and ribbons, so feel free to describe your color preferences or style and I'll do my best to incorporate your palette.
Having a hard time describing your color? You are free to send me links to any websites or attach photos of your inspiration boards. Or try using ColorPicker.com you can simply scroll the dot over a close match to retrieve a color number and provided this with your inquiry.
Example: "DustyGrayishLavender" will become # C8B1CC

2. Send your inquiry to my Etsy Conversation "convo" box.

3. I will send you photos of possible fabric, ribbon, and flower combinations based on your initial preferences. You should receive this within 24 hours via your Etsy convo box.
4. From there we will work together to narrow down the choices and decide on final details.
5. When ready to purchase, I will create a private listing for you and post it in the “Reserved for” section of my shop. This will be your invoice and will include all the final fabrics, ribbon, and flower colors for each bird, as well as any additional accessories. Payment must clear before I begin work on your custom set.
6. When your set is completed I will convo you photos for a final review. Upon approval, I will pack them up and ship them out promptly.

Frequently Asked Questions:
How long does it take to create a set of love birds?
My turn around time can vary anywhere from one week up to 16 days after all decisions have been made. I fill orders on a first come first serve basis, so busy wedding and holiday seasons can mean longer turn around times. I try to keep an accurate turn around time posted in my shop announcement at all times, so please check this for the most up to date estimate. If you are thinking about placing an order, please do so early to allow plenty of time for your birds to be created, approved, and shipped and to avoid any rush order fees. International orders please see my shop policies on shipping outside the USA.
How tall are the birds?
Each birds stand about 3.5" tall and about 3.5" long from beak to tail. My birds are unique in that their heads are jointed for some gentle posing.
Do you take additional custom requests?
Yes, if you have an idea please feel free to ask, so we can discuss it in further details. I love to create unique items. I am also happy to create two same sex birds, baby birds, bunnies, foxes, mice, etc.
Do these come on a base? Glasses? Top hat?
I have attached birds to wood bases, added glasses, veils, and bouquets just to name a few. See the “Add Ons for Love Birds” section of my shop for a price list. Feel free to ask for items not listed too. I love a creative challenge!
I have an inspiration board, can I attach that with my request?
Yes, please feel free to send me attachments, photos, or links to any of your inspirations or ideas. This helps with choosing fabric patterns and colors.
Do my male and female birds have to have matching fabrics, ribbons, and flowers?
No, I can mix and match and match and mix. That is what makes these birds so fun and unique!
The Needle Felting Process:
My needle-felted animals are handmade entirely by me in my smoke free, pet free home. The process of needle felting involves poking wool roving with a very small and sharp needle thousands of times to create each piece. Many loving hours go into each bird. I use a variety of ribbon, trimmings, fabric, and embellishments to accessorize each bird, thus creating a unique one-of-a-kind (OOAK) animal. I do not use any patterns, so no two birds will ever be the same. Please allow for slight variations in each set.
These needle-felted friends are intended for decorative purposes. If giving this as a gift, please inform the recipient these items fall more into the collectors’ category than a toy or play item. These are fragile, so please handled gently.
