Stacked on 22gauge half round Sterling Silver wire that I have hammered and formed to complement this descending Cairn stack, the earrings are both elegant and earthy. The smooth, soft green Turquoise stone that is at the top of each stack is just stunning... the soft green is even in tone and webbed with dark brown/black inclusions that are visible in the photos. The beautifully irregular top stones measures 12mm x 8mm. And I love the slim, flat sky blue disc that rests just below it. These particular shades of blue and green in each stone just sing together. The irregular bottom round or nugget is a darker blue-green with dense black veins.
The total length of the Cairn stack is 16mm.
Measured from the point at which the Sterling bends and the wire will hang from your ear, the earrings measure a generous 2.25" in length. The wire is tempered for strength but because of the length if handled too roughly be aware they may experience some bend.
