Beneath this assemblage, a vintage pearl dangles from two delicate chains; one chain is gold vermeil and the other is oxidized brass. Two more intriguing strands of vintage pearls and beads dangle from both sides of the chains. Two interesting beads are transparent glass encased in gold wire mesh.
The bee and the garden of buttons were hand sewn onto fabric, creating a soft, very wearable piece of jewelry. The back is finished with a vintage cotton floral print. I completed the necklace with two more chains; one is gold vermeil and the other is Vintaj oxidized brass. A very pretty, detailed, vintage inspired toggle clasp securely fastens the necklace.
Length of chains from the clasp to the bumblebee pendant: approximately 17 inches (43 cm). The bumblebee assemblage down to the central pearl drop is approximately another 5 inches (approx. 13 cm).
One of a kind.
