This new original oil is influenced by natural and organic forms and uses contemporary styles and techniques. I apply several layers of thick oil paint with palette knife in multiple directions. This technique not only adds texture, but further brings out the depth of each color. This painting makes a wonderful focal point to any room and is a great addition to any fine art collection!
In the last 20 years, I have painted in many mediums and with many techniques. With time, I have matured as a painter, as the real mastery comes with years of practice. Presently I enjoy scenes and imagery of romance and light, intimacy and energy! Palette knife painting allows for heavy texture that only a knife can create giving my work a great feeling of depth and an amazing visual effect.
This work is painted on a ¾” gallery wrapped stretched canvas and sides are painted, using highest quality artist oils. This painting makes a great addition to any art collection.
