This necklace would be perfect for layering - try it with a wire wrapped citrine or quartz briolette (found in my shop, of course :P ). This carnelian is a wonderful deep burnt orange - you might normally associate this with fall, but it's a wonderful color for summer as well. It pairs awesomely with a white or black tank top or t-shirt, or for more pop, try it with turquoise. Each link was hand done by me - the wire I used is patinated using a couple of different (but perfectly safe!) methods of metal darkening. The brass chain is just heavy enough to carry the carnelian without being overpowering. You can wear this piece even on the hottest days of summer.
The necklace measures just under 20" (51 cm) long and closes with a lobster claw clasp of antiqued brass. Each carnelian is 8mm around.
