Parlato is Italian for spoken
Hand-pierced, roll patterned and riveted vintage Italian words captured in copper. The gentle bends in the copper mimic the movements of a single page in a book. The bottom edge looks to have been torn.
Copper has been oxidized and then brushed with steel wool to highlight pattern.
Binding is made from reclaimed sterling silver with has been roll patterned, fold formed and riveted to the copper page.
Pendant measures approx. 1 1/16 inch by 1 7/16 inch (including bail). Comes with approx. 24" antiqued copper chain with hand forged double copper hook clasp.
All of my art jewelry is hand-fabricated by me. Each piece has an individual personality and handmade aura. No machine-made look here!
