This is one-of-a-kind High Tea for Alice stand:
No. 63, Alice Draws Blue Roses
"I wish roses would grow blue sometimes," Alice said, hoping someone might hear. But everyone was busy & she was lying on the floor drawing in the sun. "They really would be just as pretty in blue as in pink or red or yellow." She drew them as blue as she could.
High Tea for Alice one-of-a-kind cake stands invite you to add a little vintage china to your life. Each European-born dish is painstakingly drilled by hand. We outfit each with new, gold-tone hardware made in the U.K.

Bottom: Vintage Royal Doulton bone china dinner plate in Alexandria pattern with cornflower blue rim border & white lily of the valley detail, England, 10 1/2"

Notes: Bottom plate shows a very slight darkening in the white area in a couple places from age & use & slight loss of gold. Normal but beautiful vintage condition that does not detract from this pretty combination. It is barely noticeable, which is why you don't see it in the photos! But please convo if you need more photos.
About High Tea for Alice: Far from rummage sale cast-offs, the pieces in our stands are individually scouted. None have chips, cracks or crazing. Some are gently used vintage; all are immaculately lovely. It takes months to find just the right pieces for 1 stand. We will never duplicate your combination.
