Hilda is one of my signature retro styled crochet cushion covers, handmade by me in my Edinburgh studio. Her traditional square design pays homage to all those fabulous crochet blankets that your Grandma used to make.
I have hand crocheted her with a very soft wool and cotton blend yarn in bamboo yellow, cream, caramel and toffee with a wee bit of vintage pink. These colours have a great retro vibe and would fit perfectly with the granny chic style. So for a wee bit of on trend styling she would be perfectly placed on your mid-century sofa or a gorgeous white Eames rocker.

Hilda's crocheted design and colour arrangement is the same on both her back and front.
Colours include - bamboo yellow, white, vintage pink, toffee and caramel.
There is an opening along the edge for the insert, it is closed with some beautiful yellow vintage plastic buttons.
As with all my handmade cushions, I have added a signature embroidered flower label and a removable crocheted flower swing tag that includes care instructions.
Crochet cover - 50% wool, 50% cotton.
Care - gentle hand wash and press out excess water (a handwash cycle in your washing machine would also be suitable), dry flat and re-shape around cushion pad.
To fit cushion insert (not included) - 35cm square (15 inches square)
