Heirloom Lap Quilt - A Modern Mystery in Pinks, Aquamarines, and Greys

A beautiful heirloom quality quilt from of mixture of pinks, aquamarines, and grey scraps that included commercial prints and hand-dyed fabric. The end effect is just gorgeous and will sure to be cherished by whoever owns it for years to come.

This quilt is the 'Mystery Quilt' for the 2009 Quilts By Barb Quilt Retreat. Once I finished piecing the top I sent the quilt to my aunt-in-law, Barb of quiltsbybarb.etsy.com, to quilt. Barb did an absolutely stunning job with a whimsical pointed feather like pattern all over the quilt.. She used a aquamarine colored thread for the quilting that accented the rest of the quilt perfectly.

This quilt is backed with a whimsical French cat pink flannel fabric - creating extra warmth and coziness.

Approximate Dimensions: 74.5" x 57.5"

QUILT CARE: Wash in cold cycle with a Shout color catcher in-wash sheet. Hang to dry.
