I designed various outfits with these fine fabrics and attended to some exhibitions.
I do not know the original date of the prodution of this fabric.
This piece was prepared 15 years before and there were two of them, one of which belongs to me. I kept the second one for a special exhibition, Now, I am bringing this to light ...
This fabric is composed of hand weaved silk and embroidery and has a fabulous texture.
I always thought that this blouse would be used as a bridal top costume.
I used an applique of lace from my collection to the collar of the blouse.
The blouse was crocheted with high quality cotton thread. The cuff of the blouse is also hand crocheted.
As the fabric is very fragile I did not prepare the blouse as a fitting piece...
Please keep in mind that this piece is made of a very fragile collectible vintage fabric which needs special care.
