I made this little piece on my potters wheel and then fired it in my kiln. Then I coated it copper, salts, ferric chloride, poppy seeds and steel wool. I wrapped it in foil, and fired it again. That firing left beautiful blushes of pinks and peach colors, and few dramatic black lines.
This piece is 8” tall by 7” wide. It is beautifully thrown, perfectly round. Saggars are not watertight, so it can not be used as a vase.
