I wanted this piece to be reversible so the seams on the backside received a burgandy yarn whip stitch treatment to accent the seams and create finished lines. There are over 125 hours of labor in the finished work.
Since the wool has been felted it is soft, durable and heavy. A perfect blanket/quilt to keep you warm on long winter nights.
Would make a great house warming or wedding gift. And since it is upcycled it is very eco-friendly.
The shams and cable sweater pillow were made to match and are listed in a separate posting.
If the sweater quilt and shams are purchased in one transaction, I will include the small burgandy throw pillows (also made by me) at no additional charge.
VERY similar to the sweater quilt design that is on Ron Weasley's bed when Harry Potter receives the gift of the invisibility cloak in the Sorcerer's Stone.
