Antique wood type and a peace sign printing block was used along with black ink to print this message. Each piece of wood type (shown in the 4th photo) is hand-set on my mid-20th century press and inked with a brayer. Then each poster is pulled through the press, one at a time to create a perfectly imperfect print. The lightweight, recycled chipboard measures 11” x 14”.
Please note, the frame shown in the photo is NOT included.
Each print varies due to the nature of the letterpress process. Ink impression on the piece you receive may differ slightly from the picture, but each is unique and beautiful.
This piece was printed on my Model B Showcard press. Each poster is signed on the back.
