I've always loved art that intentionally represents the four seasons of the year. This is a series of small, 4 by 4 inch paintings, each of which depict a tree on a hill in the different seasons. Rich watercolors, India ink, and heavy watercolor paper are used for the best quality in work. The individual paintings are whimsical and fun, showing variation in the sky, foliage, and attire of the tree's visitors. The paintings would look good framed together or separately. There is a long tradition in art of celebrating the variety the seasons add to any given year, and I hope you like this take.
