The Playdate Peasant Dress has elastic at the neck for easy on and off. It has a roomy neckline and a simple shape so that she will be able to wear it next year as a tunic. This dress can be made with a wide variety of fabrics: cotton, flannel, corduroy, linen, eyelet or just about anything else you'd like to make it with!
The pattern is super-easy and quick to make up. It has over 30 photos to illustrate the step-by-step directions and all pattern pieces with seam allowances already included. Seam allowances are 1/4”. Hems are 1/2”.
This pattern is perfect for beginners or experienced seamstresses alike!
Included in the tutorial are instructions to make the dress with or without a border at the bottom as well as instructions to leave the short sleeves open and fluttery or to add elastic for a short gathered sleeve. (Available separately in my etsy shop is a pattern for 3 additional sleeve lengths! Just find my PDF Peasant Dress Sleeve Options Pattern here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/fun4me2?section_id=7950254 )

"fantastic pattern, the dress turned out beautifully and my daughter gets so many compliments when wearing it."
. . .
"This is the best pattern I've come across on etsy. Everything is precise and well written and the outcome is a professional looking, darling dress! I made three for gifts in one afternoon :)"

I'd love for you to make this dress for your family, to give as gifts or even to sell on Etsy, at craft shows etc, so long as all dresses sold from this pattern show clearly stated credit to fun4me2.etsy.com as the original creator of the pattern.

Special thanks to my pattern testers for helping make this pattern better, to Cynthia for helping me find those pattern testers, and to Michele at Pinkletoes Photography for lending her photography talents for my cover pics.
----- Sometime in the next couple of months I'll be needing some pattern testers for girls' sizes 6-9m thru 7. Being a pattern tester means I would send you a new, untested pattern and you sew one up for your little girl and send me your feedback on the pattern and directions. I also ask that you send me a photo of the item being modeled so I can see how it fits (and because it's fun to see what other moms make from my patterns). If you're interested, please just send me a convo telling me so - oh, and don't forget to include which size you'd be able to test out for me. Thanks! -----
