New this year for the Easter season are some authentic vintage hankies stamped with a fun little message! I search for lovely vintage hankies in the antique and vintage shops, wash them on a gentle cycle, press, stamp with ink designed for fabric and wood, then press again to heat set.
For Easter I am including a fun rabbit and a fun easter message:
Hippity, Happity, Hoppity Easter
Due to the nature of the vintage fabric, I am not quite sure of the fabric content, most seem to be cotton/cotton blend. I look them over for tears, holes and stains, but being a vitnage item there may be ever so slight blemishes- I do strive to find pristine condition hankies!
Wouldn't these be a sweet addition to a Easter Basket- let's start using cloth hankies again and move away from all the disposable waste- mama earth will love you for it!
