What do you do with the itty bitty scraps of mohair you just can't let yourself throw away?
You make a pin cushion and while it would seem that sticking pins and needles into your little bear would seem unkind, I assure you, "Rosie" is ready and willing to be your "holder" of all things stitchery!
Little (5 1/2 inch) Rosie is made from scraps of dense long rose colored mohair and soft white alpaca. Her head is cotterpin/hardboard disc jointed and her arms are string jointed although I've tacked her paws together with a lovley piece of ribbon so that you can tuck your thread, tiny scissors or whatever else you might need to finish your project right into her arms!
Rosie is stuffed with a mixture of polyfill and plastic pellets and she's got beautiful German glass eyes. I've adorned her head with two cream/blushed paper roses mixed with three antique pearl-like buttons and I've added a tiny pink tin rose to the ribbon holding her paws together. She's wearing a piece of vintage cotton pink and white trim around her neck. Rosie has blushed cheeks and some shading to her eyes.
I've set Rosie into a pretty tea cup for photo purposes ONLY. The tea cup is not part of the listing but I can imagine that you may have some lovely tea cups that Rosie could sit in but she does sit well on her own without one.
