• This extra large coffee table is functional and beautiful - both attributes demand that it is the center of attention of your room's decor. On the functional side - the table top is a very spacious 40" wide x 48" long and it includes two drawers that are 14" wide x 24" long x 2-1/4" tall - which creates a lot of storage. On the aesthetic side ... the natural wood finish coupled with the rustic & ornate drawer pulls and the carriage screw heads embedded in both sides of each leg - really create an "old world" feel. The rugged, masculine base is topped off with a beautiful iridescent mosaic tile accent inlaid into the top of the table. The iridescent attribute of the tile seems to bring the table alive by offering a different reflection depending on angle of view and on room lighting (for example, see 3rd picture for low level indoor lighting at night). Function and beauty - hand in hand.

• The wood of this design is eco friendly reclaimed barnwood that has been lightly finished in a way that we call our "natural finish" which reduces just a bit the variation in color tones of the natural wood. Still giving you a very natural presentation - but, taming the rawness of the piece just a bit.

• The table legs are shipped disassembled to help reduce shipping costs and only require two bolts to be tightened on each leg to assemble the table.

• The overall design of the table is very sturdy and you should expect the table to last you for many, many years.
