(I'm pretty sure these are trivets, and therefore meant to sit on a table with something placed on top of them, but I also think they would look snazzy hung on a wall or propped up on a shelf.)

There are signs of use / wear on each piece - nicks, abrasions, bits of discoloration etc. (it would seem the largest trivet got the most action) which I think think adds character.
Otherwise in great vintage condition.
