An unusual and more natural style of bling!
This hand made brooch has a paper mache centre.I added a thick gesso layer,front and back over the paper mache.This seals the paper mache in to some extent and and makes the brooch splash and rain proof.
It was cut and sanded into the flower shape,then painted with acrylic colours.A little glitter was added before several coats of sealing glossy varnish.
The brooch is very light weight,it feels like it was made from a very light weight wood.
