If ever a quilt could cheer you up, this is the one. During a long stretch of cloudy days here in Tennessee, I cut out this quilt with a smile. Its bright vibrant colors smiled back at me and gave me the sunshine I needed during that time. How I will miss it when it leaves my home and finds a place elsewhere.
This 100% excellent quality cotton fabric is Michael Miller's collection called Gypsy Bandana. After piecing it together, I put it on the long arm machine an gave it a fun meandering quilting job. It then went through a gentle wash and came out nice and crinkled to give it that vintage yet whimsical look. This quilt measures approx. 72" X 72" and is filled with Warm and Natural cotton batting.
