Technology and Creativity meet with this necklace made from a genuine repurposed computer chip. I had the good fortune of receiving a box of sample computer chips to art around with. This pendant is approximately 1 7/16" (3.5 cm) long and 9/16" (1.5 cm) wide, not inlcuding the bail.
This pendant is decorated with hand painted paper in oceany shades of aqua and sapphire, with accents of metallic gold. The pendant is covered with a dimensional gloss varnish. The beautiful chunky bail is attached securely with jeweler's epoxy.
The necklace hangs from an 18" silver colored chain, with a lobster claw clasp and split rings for security. Perfect for your favorite techie!
Note: These computer chips were samples and were never attached to a circuit board, so there has been no contact with the leaded solder used in computer construction. I have verified with a professional in the field that these are safe to use and wear.
