The mobile is made to order - please allow 2 weeks for it to be created and shipped. The mobile measures approximately 17 inches tall by 10 inches wide and the butterflies are approximately 5 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches long. The mobile comes with instructions for secure hanging and extra monofilament, hardware not included.
This mobile created with 100% cotton designer fabrics hand sewn in my smoke free studio. The butterflies are sewn with contrasting stitching for the wing detailing and are hung so that they will spin with the slightest of breezes. The stainless steel wire armature which they hang from is wrapped with a hand sewn ribbon of cotton fabric. The edges on the ribbon and butterflies have been intentionally left unfinished so some shedding may occur over time but all mobiles have been rubbed so that it will be very minimal.

This is not a toy for children, it is intended for decoration only. The sculpture can be hung at any height. If you are going to hang this in a child's room it should be hung out of arms reach (and then a bit more). As the child learns to stand please adjust the mobile again. We advise against hanging this over a child's bed because of the risk of injury.
