My stockings make lovely decorations all year long, not only at Christmas time. Hang one on a chair back, bedpost, door or door knob, on the front of a cabinet, or even on a floor lamp. Fill one with special little luxuries to greet a visitors in the guest room or to give as a special gift on Mother's Day or for a loved one's birthday. Stockings definitely are not just for Christmas when they come from Christmas Is Love!
I meticulously design and construct my stockings to have a finished, designer appearance. I used two different interlinings on this stocking in the body, lining and cuff. Including the interlinings, the body of the stocking (both sides together) has 10 layers of fabric. The foldover cuff has a total of 8 layers of fabric. My stockings are durable and can safely be filled with goodies. In addition to the stabilizing interlinings, I double or triple stitch or serge every seam.
Etsy does not have a shipping calculator. The shipping weight for a single stocking is two pounds, and shipping cost is given for the farthest U.S. destination. In many cases, the cost will be less, and I will refund the difference through Paypal immediately following shipment.
