The peyote and brick stitch bezel was created with hundreds and hundreds of glass delicas, in matte copper, galvanized burgundy, and metallic blue. I decided to hang the pendant in what many consider the "sideways" orientation, so stitched a generous peyote bail, and then embellished the top and bottom asymmetrically with a combination of glass seed beads, freshwater pearls, and Swarovski pearls. Brown suede covers the back of the beaded cab.
Phase 2 was the creation of the necklace, which blends Grade A blue Biwa pearls, large blue and burgundy freshwater pearls, and golden 6mm Swarovski crystals. On either side of the bail I did some more woven embellishment with glass seed beads, freshwater pearls, and Swarovski crystals.
The necklace is finished with a gold-filled S-hook and gold-filled chain, for an adjustable finished length (to TOP of pendant) of: 18.5 inches to 21 inches. The beaded pendant measures approx. 3.5 inches wide by 2.25 inches tall (at widest point).
