I loosely copied the pattern on very off white deer hide. It is painted in a dark charcoal grey and I did not try to make very solid lines so that it went with the look of aged pottery.
The shard is encased in a piece of buckskin sewn to the flap. Secured by gluing and sewing so it will not be lost.
Pouch is 2 3/4" wide and 5" deep. The strap is tightly braided and about 26" long.
Another OOAK original hand cut, sewn in a saddle stitch and designed by me Miss Tudy.
Last photo is of another large bag listed in my shop..
