or a sliver moon...
Here she is...I'm in love! When you hold this in your hands, the heft and detail...luxury. It took a long while to collect the elements and to bring them together so they make more than sense--they have to do something aesthetic for me...satisfy me in an elemental way--go bing in my head...convey a story.
I am in love with the contrasts! The cucumber pale green beads of quartz, the black licorice and red berry Mali beads, the Bedouin beads (made by moi), and the bone-colored wood beads, not to forget the focal element***--a work in itself! I love the way it all ties together with the black waxed cotton, and the faux leather wood closure, the woven loop---sigh!
...wouldn't it look great with the barest of tops--or a black blouse? Or a white blouse, a white vintage men's shirt with the sleeves rolled up, the neck open, or a little black dress...
Now, you command attention.
