As she is made from 100% cotton yarns and has two crocheted layers she would make a great trivet for your tea or coffee pot and is sturdy enough for practical use around your kitchen and dining table. For a spot of shabby chic styling she would be equally at home on your kitchen windowsill holding a vase of fresh flowers... it's entirely up to you!
When not in use you can hang her on your kitchen wall alongside any other pot holders you might have. They make a fabulous display when you group a whole bunch of them together, perfectly in keeping with the granny chic trend. She measures 21cm (8.25 inches) from edge to edge, a great size for both handling your hot pans and protecting your delicate surfaces from direct heat.
As with all my pot holders, she has one of my signature embroidered flower labels attatched to her back and comes with a removeable swing tag that includes care instructions.
