Created using my signature lacemaking techniques and original patterns, the lace on the earrings is made entirely by hand.
Pure silver foil threads, like those used in traditional kimono embroidery, have been crocheted to create six-petalled floral lace motifs. The richly textured details of the flowers are highlighted with dozens of tiny glass beads. Vintage rhinestones in silver tone settings adorn each delicate petal, and ivory freshwater pearls are interwoven throughout. The large pearls in the centers of the earrings are particularly luminous. The motifs are attached to sterling silver posts and finished off with rich silver foil threads, woven to create a soft backing.
