*16 hand folded four petal paper origami flowers assembled atop a bed of scalloped white lace with a 5" handle. Flower bouquet measure 6" in diameter, a great size for a bridesmaid or jr. bridsmaid.
Kusudama origami originated from ancient Japanese culture, where they were used for incense and potpourri. The word itself is a combination of two Japanese words kusuri, medicine, and tama, ball. It is not exact origami as the units are fused together, but it is still respected as an ingenious traditional paper folding craft in the origami family.
Each bouquet is hand folded by me. Each flower is then attached to a sturdy wire stem and carefully arranged into a stunning bouquet. Construction of a single bouquet can take anywhere from a few days to just short of a week depending on how intricate the design. I always do my best to be as quick as possible while still providing the most perfect product that I can.
I prefer to have at least 3 months from purchase to complete any larger requests, however I do accept rush orders at an additional price. Please contact me with your wedding date and the number of specific items you would like to purchase and I will do everything I can to fit you in. Most orders are created according to date of wedding or in the order I received them.
Custom orders are greatly encouraged as each bride has different styles and needs. Color, size, pattern, flower style, and embellishments can all be customized to fit any wedding theme and bouquets can be purchased in any amount as long as time to complete the order permits.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
