Royal Hickman was a potter from the 1930's-1960's and did a limited amount of glassware designs.
After finding these round rock glasses, I have had a really tough time actually listing them. They are rare. The design in orange and green with gold trim is awesome.
The orange side depicts a horse and rider and the green side is the fox on the run!
So retro and beautiful all at the same time.
The glass design includes the artists name in gold!
The design is in good shape on all the glasses. There is some wear of some of the gold, especially on the foxes.. Im sure from normal age and wear.
There are 8 glasses. ONE has a tiny chip on the rim, which I think could be filed smooth. The others are crack and chip free.
Measure 3.25" tall and have a capacity of 12 oz.
Please be aware that vintage items are at minimum 20 years old. Most have been pre-owned and perhaps loved dearly. You should expect imperfections. To me, these imperfections lend character and authenticity to the item I will note major flaws and usage marks, but if you are looking for a perfect item, then vintage items may not be for you.
