This collage was made with vintage, found, and hand painted and printed papers, and is one of a kind. It is part of a series of collages I made exploring the theme of small parts, and the idea of putting things in order. I was inspired by the shape of plants, rocks, internal organs, sticks, and geometric shapes and patterns in creating this collage. I like to think that all these pieces are assembled here because they have some strange connection.
The collage was created on heavy watercolor paper, and thus has a sturdy feel.
The collage measures about 9.25 x 7.75 inches, and is signed on the lower right corner. Would look lovely framed, perhaps floated on a white mat board or between two pieces of glass.
