This cloth poster is made with a linen cotton front and backed with natural cotton. Attached to stained wooden dowels, and hung by a leather lace, this poster is inspired by old school maps and charts.
The feathers on this poster are of birds who rely on old-growth forests for their habitat. All feathers are original hand illustrations, drawn to scale, and screen-printed on the cloth using non-toxic water based pigments. The birds represented are: Downy Woodpecker, Ovenbird, Barred Owl, Wood Duck, American Kestrel, Saw-whet Owl, Hermit Thrush, Wood Thrush, Hairy Woodpecker, and Pileated Woodpecker.
The poster measures approx. 18" wide by 24" high. The back is printed with the title 'feathers of an old-growth forest'.
